
Bodrum town is situated exactly as Halicarnassus was many years ago. The main road runs inland from Bodrum Castle, which is set on a rocky headland between two bays. This main road and the bays on either side form the town centre of Bodrum. The population jumps from 50,000 during winter to over half a milllion people during summer time.
The blue seas are all around us and above are the most brilliant of blue summer skies. And an added touch of blue comes from the magnificent “Blue Voyages” which are practically synonymous with Bodrum.

Bodrum-Milas airport is 35 km away from Bodrum and many flight companies operate charter flights to Bodrum in Summer season. There are also Dalaman and Izmir Airports which are 3 hours far away from Bodrum.
From the Airport: There are Havas Shuttle services in accordance with each planes' arriving to the domestic lines of Bodrum Milas Airport. Ticket Fee from airport to Bodrum Center is 17.00 TL, journey takes 40-45 minutes. Food and drink costs at the airport are astronomical. For example, a can of soda costs about 5 Euros whereas it would be a fraction of that in the city. Take this into account before arriving at the airport.
Bodrum is reached by sea from Kos and Rhodes (Greek Islands). Daily ferryboat services from/to Cos and Rhodes to Bodrum are available during the summer season
Bodrum has a Mediterranean climate. A winter average high of 15 °C (59 °F) and in the summer 34 °C (93 °F), with very sunny spells. Summers are hot and humid and winters are mild and mostly sunny.
